Revealed: These are the safest airlines in the world to fly in 2024

Experts evaluate almost 350 airlines based on their safety credentials, considering various criteria, such as serious safety incidents, recent deadly accidents. Evaluations from aviation regulatory bodies, fleet age, and expert pilot training. They use this information to determine the top safest airlines.

New Zealand’s national carrier has been ranked as the number-one airline for 2024. Australian carrier Qantas came in at No. 2 on the list, followed by Virgin Australia, Etihad Airways, and Qatar Airways, rounding out the top five.
