Paul Reeve is officially the CFO of NEC Group

According to the official statement, Paul Reeve is set to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer at NEC Group, following his hiring in July. Alongside him, Melanie Smith CBE will take over as Group CEO, while Paul Thandi CBE, DL, the previous Chief Executive, transitions into the role of Chairman.
Prior to teaming up with NEC Group, Reeve was with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) for a decade, where he was the European CFO, managing venue activities, ticketing, touring, and festivals across the continent. Reeve has also had several high-level financial roles in advertising and media at WPP plc and Dentsu.

Melanie Smith commented, “Paul is a well-respected finance leader with a strong track record in driving commercial and operating performance. Paul brings outstanding experience in live events, ticketing, and venue management, which will be pivotal to us unlocking the next phase of our growth.”
Paul Reeve expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The Group is entering a new, transformative era, and I am pleased to join at this exciting time so I can support Melanie and the team in driving the business to new heights.
