Stephen Roy was named President of Mack Trucks and a member of Volvo Group’s executive board

Stephen Roy has been appointed as a new member of Volvo Group´s executive board and president of Mack Trucks, reporting directly to Volvo Group President and CEO Martin Lundstedt. Volvo is the parent company of Mack Trucks. Martin Lundstedt was recently ranked No. 180 in a list of the world’s best CEOs for 2023; meanwhile, Volvo Group ranked No. 197 in the CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the most influential companies in the world.

Stephen Roy will succeed Martin Weissburg, who will retire after a long and successful career within the Volvo Group. Martin Weissburg has served as a member of the Volvo Group Executive Board for over a decade and has been a leader of Volvo Financial Services, Volvo Construction Equipment, and Mack Trucks. He will now join the Board of Nova Bus.
