How Jared Rudnick Built a Career on Consistency and Leadership

A Driven Leader With Deep Roots in Hard Work
Some people are born into their passion. Others grow into it. For Jared Rudnick, success came from a mix of both. Raised in Dover, Massachusetts, he spent his early years balancing sports, school, and a steady drive to compete at a high level. That mindset would later become the foundation of a long and successful career in the technology and manufacturing industry.
Growing up, Jared played several varsity sports and served as the captain of his high school basketball team. Leadership came naturally to him. “Success is achieving the goals that you have set out to make,” he says. That simple idea would follow him into adulthood and guide nearly every major decision he made.
After graduating from Dover-Sherborn High School in 1997, Jared attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, where he continued pushing himself physically and mentally while playing rugby. He completed his degree in 2001 and entered a competitive job market ready to work.
Starting Strong at Dynamic Details
Jared’s career began in June 2001 at Dynamic Details (DDI), a well-known printed circuit board manufacturer. He didn’t come into the industry with all the answers. Instead, he showed up with dedication, curiosity, and a willingness to put in the time. Those traits paid off quickly.
During his 11 years as a direct employee, he won several major awards, including:
- Highest New Customer Growth (2008 and beyond including last year at TTM)
- Highest Dollar Growth (2009)
- Highest Dollars Booked (2010)
- Presidents Board of Excellents (2012)
- Additional recognition for consistent performance
His early success wasn’t an accident. Jared Rudnick learned early that effort creates opportunity. He remembers falling short one year and using that moment to reset. “I knew I had to make more calls and get on the road more to achieve the success I did in 2010 and beyond,” he says. That shift in mindset pushed him to the top of his field.
When DDI was acquired by Viasystems in 2012–2013, Jared stayed on for another year. The transition taught him how to adapt inside a rapidly changing industry. It also helped him refine the skills that would shape his next chapter.
Building a Business From the Ground Up
In 2014, Jared made a major move. He left the corporate world and co-founded RMS Sales. Currently we represent TTM Technologies, which has acquired Viasystems. This relationship allowed Jared to stay deeply connected to the technology and manufacturing space he knew so well.
Starting a business wasn’t easy. There were wins and losses. Highs and lows. But Jared learned how to stay level-headed through all of it. “Trying not to get too high on the highs or too low on the lows has been key. It is a marathon, not a sprint,” he says.
He and his business partner built RMS Sales through discipline and clear communication. Their planning style reflects that approach. “I typically take a piece of paper and slide it face down to my business partner, asking where we’d like to see the company in 1, 3, and 5 years,” Jared explains. This long-term perspective has helped the company stay focused while navigating a competitive industry.
Jared has also learned the value of self-awareness. “Listening, confidence, and understanding your weaknesses so you can backfill help where you need it,” he says, has been a cornerstone of his leadership style. He believes strong teams are built when leaders focus on their strengths and bring in support where needed.
Lessons Learned Through Experience
Over more than two decades in the industry, Jared has built strong relationships and earned the trust of customers and partners. But his growth hasn’t only been professional. He continues to push himself personally as well. “I try and look at myself each year. It isn’t just about the growth of the company — the personal growth is also important,” he says.
Some years bring challenges outside of work. Others come with professional hurdles. Jared understands that success isn’t measured by a single metric. “There can be years where we carry a loss and it can be market driven. It is important to understand that you can only control what you can,” he explains.
That realistic mindset helps him stay grounded and resilient.
A Life Built on Balance, Family, and Focus
Today, Jared lives in Cutler Bay, Florida, where he raises his two children, Matteo and Hana. When he’s not working, he enjoys basketball, football, weightlifting, and cheering for New England sports teams.
Family remains a major source of strength and guidance. He credits his father as his biggest influence. “He helped me navigate through some tough personal and business waters,” Jared says.
At 46, Jared continues to focus on improving a little each year — both in business and in life. “I try my best to take care of the little things, and the bigger things will fall into place,” he says.
His story is one of consistency, humility, and deliberate effort. And in an industry built on precision and reliability, those qualities have carried him far — and will continue to shape his success in the years ahead.
